souvignier gris - orange 2024
Wine with Amphora Maceration
The rebel that drove traditionalists crazy.
Souvignier Gris: the grape variety that decided to rewrite the rulebook. Tough as a Spartan warrior and aromatic as a secret garden, this outsider spent 4 whole months soul-searching on its own skins in a terracotta amphora. Because when you've got personality, you don't rush things.
The result? An orange wine with the color of a Tuscan sunset that greets your nose with a bouquet that seems cooked up by a mad chef: fresh thyme stolen from the herb garden, wild herbs that smell like freedom, and citrus fruits winking mischievously.
It's the kind of wine that can't keep quiet at the dinner table - it always has something interesting to say and says it with that unmistakable orange hue that commands attention.

- The year we learned that patience really is a virtue, especially when it pays off this well.
